With its distinguished, and a little bit retro, facade, reflecting off Canal Maggiore, close to the Clock Tower in the heart of Comacchio old town centre, the Locanda La Comacina is an unmistakeable point of reference for people that want to spend lovely stays in the heart of a historic city at the centre of the Po Delta.

Everything came from a photo, from the photo sprung an idea and from that, the project, or rather the dream. The dream of restoring the dignity that this corner of old Comacchio had lost throughout the years, to the charm of when the canal was crossed by many boats, the "Comacine" to be exact. Traditional boats that transported salt from the Palazzo delle Saline opposite, along the commercial routes.

• Salvo accordi, i cani non potranno essere lasciati incustoditi in camera (per evitare danni e mugolii che potrebbero disturbare gli altri ospiti)potrete fare la prima colazione e/o pranzare assieme agli animali sulla terrazza esterna!.
Per (ovvi!) motivi igienici (purtroppo non sempre rispettati dai padroni!), è VIETATO far salire sui letti i vostri animali ed utilizzare i teli bagno per pulirli!
Si prega di raccogliere le deiezioni dei vostri cani nei nostri spazi esterni comuni,
• Il cane va tenuto al guinzaglio e sotto stretto controllo del proprietario.
• Si prega di fare attenzione alla presenza di altri animali.
• Al vostro check-out è richiesto un supplemento per la particolare sanificazione della camera (extra cleaning-up, con rimozione accurata dei peli, etc...)  pari a € 10,00 per notti soggiorno, vi chiediamo di portare con voi la sua cuccetta o traversina 

Comacina is open all year round but to recharge the batteries for the following season, closes for holidays  January and  November  .

Tourist tax - application procedure
From 1 December 2017, the tourist tax enters into force.

The tax is payable by the subjects who, not residing in the Municipality of Comacchio, stay in the accommodation facilities of the territory and are paid for each overnight stay up to a maximum of 14 consecutive nights, subject to the exemptions provided by the regulation.
The subjects who stay overnight in the accommodation establish the tax to the manager of the structure, which issues receipt of the sums collected through their receipt and / or choice, directly invoicing the amount subject to tax, outside the VAT field.

Art. 4 - EXEMPTIONS
They are exempt from the payment of the residence tax:
a) children up to their twelfth year of age;
b) volunteers who offer their service in the municipal area for environmental emergencies and humanitarian;
c) personnel belonging to the police, state and local forces, to the other armed forces, al National body of firefighters and Civil Defense, who stay for needs of service;
d) coach drivers and tour leaders who provide assistance to
groups organized by travel and tourism agencies. The exemption applies to each driver coaches and a tour guide for every twenty-five participants;
e) the employees of the manager of the tourist facility who works there;
f) disabled people with disability of 100% with appropriate certification and their companion (one disabled person).
The application of the exemption is subject to the delivery by the interested parties to the manager of the accommodation structure of the following documentation:
- for the hypotheses referred to in the preceding letters b), c), d), e) and for the accompanying persons referred to in letter f) special substitutive declaration of affidavit, rendered pursuant to the law.
- for those with disabilities as per letter f) suitable certification.
